parenthetical resolutions

In with the tea, out with the booze. Out with the cookies, the masses of xmas crapola, and bad habits galore (including hanging out on the net while my children wait for my attention), out with talking on the phone in the car (while it is moving anyway).

Something about having a birthday near the new year or more aptly at the end of an old one really makes me want to turn over a new leaf. My mom bought me a wrinkle repair regimen for xmas (thanks mom). I guess me getting (and looking) older somehow makes her feel older too.

So here I go to change. Better go now. Someone has a rubber band stuck on his head.

camoflauge christmas scarf...

I have failed as a knitter this Christmas. I only completed one lowly scarf and am only a quarter done with a camouflage scarf that was going to be a huge hit. but alas, all my time was squeezed up doing something or another. My new years resolution this year: to begin crafty presents in january and complete them all by the end of 2008. Also to learn to make leg warmers and hats-everyone is sick of my scarves.
